I arrived in United States in December 1997 and attended the American Language Institute (ALI) to brush up my English. I completed my studies in ALI in 1999 and after passing the TOEFL exam, I went on to study in San Francisco State University. I majored in visual communication and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Arts.
During my studies in San Francisco State University, I developed a huge interest in multimedia design and decided that I want to further my studies in this field. In 2004, I learned about a Masters program in multimedia studies offered by California State University (CSU), Hayward. I applied for the program and was accepted into the program for Fall quarter of 2004. During my 2 years in CSU, Hayward (now CSU, East Bay), I took the opportunity to learn from other multimedia professionals to upgrade my skills.
